Siamese Cat Insurance

Affectionate, outspoken and, some would say, downright extroverted – the Siamese cat is a breed that destroys stereotypes. This is also one of the easiest breeds to recognise, thanks to its distinctive markings and widespread popularity. And now with Siamese cat pet insurance from PIA, it’s also an easy breed to insure.

The Siamese cat made his debut in the Western world at the London Crystal Palace Cat Show back in 1871. The specimen on display was labelled the ‘Royal Cat of Siam’, and this striking feline quickly caught the eye of cat fanciers in the UK.

Then a few years later, another Siamese cat was sent to the West – this time to the wife of President Rutherford B Hayes in 1879. At this point, it was safe to say that the Siamese cat had forever secured its position in the pantheon of highly sought-after breeds.

In fact, it persists as what is, perhaps, the best-known East-Asian cat breed in the world.

Today, there are many separate types of Siamese-like cat breeds that might previously have been grouped under the same category. But regardless of the breed or variety, PIA offers Siamese cat insurance to provide your pet with the protection it deserves.
